What can I say about myself that will make me sound interesting? I guess I’ll start with where I’m from.
I was born in Cedar City, Utah and spent my infancy in Loa, Utah. My family moved around a lot in my youth, making stops in Las Vegas; Kansas City, Kansas; Bountiful, Utah; Cary, North Carolina and Bountiful again.
Much of my adolescent years were spent causing trouble, writing and performing music with one of my best friends and chasing girls. I never really thought much of what I wanted to be when I grew up. It wasn’t until later in life that I decided I really liked writing. And, despite the criticism and discouragement of certain AP English teachers, I decided to pursue it anyway.
In my professional career, I work in advertising. I have written and produced ad campaigns, radio and television ads and much more for many companies nationwide, including the Utah Jazz.
At home, I enjoy soaking in every minute of being a dad and a husband. I have a wonderful support team, and they even laugh at my jokes—occasionally.
